Last weekend, Ward and I engaged in a hangout in which we discussed, and Ward prototyped doing structured conversations with Federated Wiki. His work is found here: Mockup IBIS in Wiki
His first, and to now, only approach, has been to create templates for the four basic types of IBIS nodes, which are:
- Issue / Question - Position / Answer / Idea - Pro argument - Con argument
Then, when a node is created, the template builds page folds which specify the kinds of responses you can make to that node. When a node is created, you are then asked if you want to use one of the templates for that node.
That's seriously cool!
